US news website Business Insider has put Vietnam in a list of 30 places that are ideal for traveling alone.
“Vietnam is considered one of the most female-friendly places to travel in Southeast Asia, and, in its largest cities, like Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll find a safe and vibrant environment. Explore its many markets like Ben Thanh, located in HCMC, or the massive Dong Xuan Market, located in Hanoi,” the website says.
It also features a video by director Oliver Astrologo capturing Vietnam’s people and landscape while traveling through Vietnam for two weeks and over 10,000 miles.
Other destinations in the list include Japan’s Kyoto, Indonesia’s Bali, Cambodia’s Siem Reap, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and Costa Rica.
Earlier this year, Business Insider named Vietnam’s Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and Ha Long Bay in the list of 20 stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
