Hanoi is not only a 1000 years old city but also the city of peace and culture. Riding bicycle around Hanoi is one of the most wonderful experiences to see real livelihood of Hanoi people and its culture.
08:00 Bus pick up at your hotel to the departure point. After a brief introduction to the use of our bicycles and the biking routes, we start our adventure by cycling along the Red River dyke. Visit the market of ceramics, located by the riverside. Continue cycling until we reach the village of Bonsai and flowers where we will could have plenty of photos. Afterward we cross the street to reach the West Lake for lunch.
13:00 After lunch, we continue to ride along the shores of West Lake.
13:30 We stop at the Quan Thanh pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda to visit it. Located on an islet connected to the eastern shore of West Lake (Ho Tay), Tran Quoc Pagoda is one of the oldest in Vietnam. The continuing to Ngu Xa Bronze made village to visit one family who still work on this job and then visit it’s pagoda where all Buddha sayings is written in English. Those pagodas’s construction dates back to 514 and its restoration in the fifteenth century (according to a stele placed on the pagoda in 1639).
Optional: For those who not fancy with Pagoda can go for Literature Temple, the first Public University of Vietnam, where worshiped to the Confucius and studied its theory since 1076.
16:00 After visiting the pagoda or temple, we have the opportunity to visit some other sites such as the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (outside), the flag tower, the north gate of the ancient citadel in Hanoi. We reach the bicycle departure point and bus to hotel around late afternoon. End.
